Apparently in this modern world we are so detached from our senses that Swanson now offers a way to nuke your food, creating a more pungent flavor. So many horrifying things about this product, the first and most obvious being the packaging. Under no circumstances would I even pour a small packet of what looks like tar, egg yolk, or waste onto my food. Also the clearly manufactured liquid stream and swirls of steam look like a Photoshop tutorial gone awry. Then they are the deeper issues with this product. Why aren’t we happy with the way food tastes naturally? Why can’t we eat a skillet of chicken…and have it taste like normal chicken. When did salt and pepper stop being enough?
